While this is just a gag, I can't help but wonder what Beardo could have done that led to Jim's death while helping him buy a farm. Perhaps there's a new episode idea there? Would anybody be interested in reading that one? It'd be my first spin-off episode, which I'm conceiving only now as I write this! ... probably a fruitless endeavour.
More importantly, here we are in the final act and Beardo is nowhere NEAR earning the money he was hoping for. What a sad situation.
